World Book Day

By Ella Mulvey

All of the school was allowed to dress up as a character from their favourite book. The younger classes designed new covers for their favourite book. The senior classes were transported to scenes from their favourite book using Green Screen Technology! The senior classes read to the younger children, and we all got a €1.50 token to buy a book of our choice. Thanks to everyone who took part and for the teachers who organised the special day.

Cuman na mBunscol

So far we have played three matches as part of the Cumann na mBunscol league. The first match we played in Marlay Park was against Our Lady’s Boys National School, unfortunately we lost our first match but now it looks like we are on the UP! We have won the last two matches that we have played against Our Lady of the Wayside and Holy Cross. We now have a semi-final coming up and hopefully we all do our best to reach Croke Park.  Big Thanks to Gavin, Peter Keane and Mr. Coughlan for their support.
