Our School Garden was developed in 2007 thanks to a generous contribution from the Glencullen Fraughan Festival Committee. Our outdoor classroom (a wonderful place on a sunny day) was donated by Dunlaoghaire Rathdown County Council. Thanks to Denis our caretaker and our parents’ garden committee it is maintained all year round, ready for when pupils go on a bug hunt or when seeds need planting or a quiet poetry lesson.

Our garden is a wonderful resource which enables our students to:

  • Care for other living things
  • Learn and put into practice ecological principles
  • Experience the joy of nature
  • Practice leadership skills
  • Be physically active
  • Use all their senses

If you would like to help out with the garden please leave your name and number with Betty in the office.
