On Safer Internet day, Emma from Microsoft came to talk to our senior classes. They learnt lots about the importance of internet safety and they also learnt about a great rule called ‘The Granny Rule’, where the children had to think about whether their Granny would approve of the photo that they would upload before uploading it to the internet.
Literacy Stations and Technology
Since we got our iPads, all of our pupils have had great fun and learnt loads using them. They have been a fantastic addition to our school and we have started some great station work using them! All of the classes are really enjoying improving their IT skills with touch typing on the laptops and creating beautiful stories, improving our phonics and fine motor skills using our iPads.
