Engineering Week

For the last two weeks of March, we were enjoying Science, Technology and Engineering by completing lots of fun activities and tasks! 4th, 5thand 6thclass were all assigned challenges, they all created boats, flying objects, rockets, marshmallow catapults, a case for keeping an egg safe, Rapunzel tower and we made bridges from different materials. We all worked in pairs and given just one week to build our assigned challenge. On the last day we brought our projects into school and we displayed them in the school hall where we had an Engineering EXPO! The junior classes all built bridges out of different materials such as lego, blocks, straws and dominoes. They had lots of fun displaying their designs in their classrooms. It was a fantastic week and we definitely have some engineers for the future!!
