We had an incredible time thanks to Rachel Kavanagh and her colleagues from Trinity College who lent us these light microscopes. We got to see and make our own slides of ordinary things like sugar, flour, hair, seeds and lots of other things. We learned about nanotechnology also and we got a virtual tour from Rachel’s colleagues of an electron microscope in their laboratory using Skype. It was amazing how magnified a butterfly’s wing looks like ! They answered lots of questions as well . Thank you so much .
