After a brilliant day at the Awards on Tuesday in Dublin Castle, where we walked away with the Irish Aid Award of Distinction, it was time to celebrate back at school!
On Wednesday we held a special assembly where each child in 5th class received a unique medal for their work on their project ‘Caring for our World’. And the whole school celebrated with no homework for the rest of the school year! Yay!
On Friday 5th class had a party themselves where they surprised Ms. Byrne with cards & balloons. Mia made some amazing Irish Aid cakes & Charlotte made delicious rice krispies chews. Ms. Byrne & Lucy brought treats & balloons and we danced the afternoon away. Check out our selfie! 😉
